Implementing integrated communication systems, ANT Telecom has helped hundreds of businesses across the U.K. reduce costs and increase productivity. It has been providing everything from digital and IP telephony systems, to asset tracking, VoIP services and more. Lately, by switching to SIP trunks, it has helped its clients make significant cost savings.
According to ANT Telecom, in order to serve clients, businesses across the U.K. rely on flawless communication both internally and worldwide. While ISDN circuits have furthered the speed and capacity for many businesses (speech and data integration through the same lines), the cost and potentially unused capacity can be a definitive drawback for some. Therefore, many are taking advantage of SIP trunks as a cost-effective alternative to ISDN circuits with assistance from ANT Telecom.
“Although we provide business calls and line packages for analog, ISDN2 and ISDN30 lines, we also provide SIP trunking, which may fit an individual company’s needs far better,” company officials said.
ANT Telecom said it has been working with a number of U.K. companies well-suited for SIP trunking as opposed to the use of ISDN lines or other telephone infrastructure the company provides. A SIP trunk is a logical connection between an IP PBX (News - Alert) and a service provider’s application server that allows voice over IP (VoIP) traffic to be exchanged between the two.
As per ANT Telecom’s release, the company charges as little as £5 ($8.03) a month per trunk. Besides delivering significant savings, ANT Telecom also provides flexible numbering, which allows a business to work from London on a Glasgow number. SIP trunks also support multi sites, provide free calls between IP sites and lower call costs to other destinations. They permit full business continuity models without remote call forwarding charges, are scalable on a per-channel basis and can be used with existing customer equipment.
