Two Major International Companies Qualify EMRISE's CIP-ALL Products

CIP-ALL from EMRISE Corporation supports a whole range of industry standard interfaces, offering pseudo-wire emulation over Ethernet-IP with the help of fiber or copper media. In addition, the product range offers a full combination into global network management systems and QoS (Quality of Service) management systems and has a variety of interfaces from analog telephony to data and video.

Recently, EMRISE announced that its CIP-ALL product line has been qualified by a major European telecommunication company and a dominant European-based international utility company.

Having already started to buy products for their enterprise network applications, these two companies have tested, qualified and selected the EMRISE CIP-ALL range of products. The quick decommissioning of leased line and other analog circuits by telephone and other private communications network companies, such as utilities, has resulted in the requirement for pseudo-wire products such as the CIP-ALL. According to the company, this enhances the life of legacy systems even when capital budgets are constrained.

“These qualifications by one of the world's largest telecommunications companies and electric utility companies represent the achievement of a very important milestone for our communications equipment business," noted EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva. "Our new products can now be purchased and installed by the field operations of these two companies for inclusion in their networks. Back in 2008, TMCnet reported that the company received one million dollars in new orders for electronic devices and subsystems which were to be used in commercial In-Flight Entertainment and Communication (IFE&C) systems. Pascall Electronics, company’s subsidiary, based in England, received the new IFE&C orders. Pascall is a provider of power systems, RF devices and integrated subsystems for traditional IFE.
