A site providing users a simple and convenient way to compare VoIP rates between leading providers, Compare VoIP Provider Rates has changed its domain name to better align it with its mission. The site provides users with easy access to the cheapest rates possible. The site has changed its name from http://www.comparevoipproviderrates.com to http://www.cheapvoipproviders.org.
The decision was made in the hope that the new name helps consumers become aware and more price-sensitive in their VoIP provider choices.
When comparing VoIP providers, Compare VoIP Provider Rates does not consider any other factors apart from calling rates to most destinations worldwide. The calling rate is the only factor the site considers. And the lower the rate, the more prominent the provider's placing will be.
Most so-called VoIP comparison sites available in the market are not comparing VoIP providers objectively. These sites are simply nothing more than advertising platforms where the highest bidder wins the most prominent placing. Providers are willingly paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars to be displayed on those sites.
The sites themselves outbid providers on Google (News

Even if select websites were comparing VoIP providers objectively with a passion of doing good for the community, passion unfortunately has a time limit, and when presented with big money, even enthusiasts are tempted to sell. A single company currently owns three of the most prominent so-called comparison sites and appropriately describes itself as an advertising agency – which is exactly what it is. With this wrong information, consumers are led to make bad choices and choose providers who would fail in a genuine comparison against most others.
