Advanced American Telephones recently unveiled the Syn248 Deskset and Gateway (News - Alert) business phone system. Ideal for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB), the Syn248 offering can be installed and set up very easily.

The offering can incorporate into an existing network, and ensures handy administration through an online user interface.

SMBs and startups are offered the Syn248 at an economically viable price. The entire all-inclusive features and support of the Syn248 can be advantageously utilized by an organization with 24 employees.

The organization only needs to spend a maximum of $4,750 for the Syn248, which will include 24 Desksets, priced at $179 per unit; and two Gateways, priced at $219 each.

The easy-to-implement system consists of two units, with no requirement for supplementary cabling with its dual-port Ethernet connection. The need for additional hardware or extra components in order to extend the system or its capabilities is also avoided.

Organizations can replace their current PBXs and Key Systems with the Syn248, which can directly support 24 users, ensuring maximum efficiency.

The future growth of a business is also supported as a second Gateway, capable of supporting a maximum of eight analog lines, added to the scalable Syn248 in a simplified manner.

The intuitive online administration capabilities and sophisticated call routing makes it easy to administer the system, which incorporates four in-built auto attendants for providing personalized recordings for every department or division.

The auto attendant simplifies call administration by allowing dial-by-name in-bound call routing as well, and an option to contact an operator when required.
