Tadiran Telecom Acquires EasyRun's Technology and Intellectual Property

By SIP Trunking Report Contributing Writer

On Tuesday, Tadiran Telecom announced the acquisition of EasyRun’s technology and intellectual property but made sure that the terms of the deal remained confidential. EasyRun’s EPICCenter technology will be incorporated into Tadiran’s unified communication platform that runs on Linux and is schedule to be released into the market next week.

EasyRun has been providing VoIP contact center solutions that can run on legacy or IP-PBX platforms since its founding in 1991. Its innovations have enabled customers to upgrade to multimedia contact operations without having to overhaul the existing telephony infrastructure.

With Tadiran Telecom serving more than 100,000 business of all sizes in 41 countries worldwide, its president and CEO, Eldad Barak, was quoted saying, ”This is important news to the 100,000 customers around the world that have adopted our solutions. We can now provide an IP based end-to-end solution with powerful contact center technology.”

EasyRun’s solution will allow Tadiran’s customers to choose between telephony, e-mail or chat as contact options, while seamlessly integrating into the already existent CRM and easily blending with inbound and outbound calls. This will give companies the ability to manage sales campaigns and process customer orders in real time.

Following the merger, EasyRun’s base of over 3,000 locations around the globe will have the option to join Tadiran’s pre-established customer base and benefit from an expanded range of unified communication solutions.

On the other hand, Tadiran will be in a better position to compete with their rivals in supplying IP business telephony and telecommunication solutions to clients worldwide. Their current solutions feature an impressive collection of products including the unified communication platforms, IP PBXs, soft switches, contact centers, IP phones and some mobility and desktop solutions.

EasyRun’s senior contact center consultant , Michael Light, said, “I've had the privilege of helping over 120 contact centers make their product decisions and believe completely that EasyRun offers both a great all-in-one contact center solution and is clearly the best overall value in the market place.”
