beroNet has introduced a new cloud managed and monitored PBX (News - Alert) telephony Appliance.

The new beroNet Telephony Appliance is an open, modular, OS agnostic platform which is compatible with any software-based VoIP IP-PBX software on the market today.

The new beroNet Telephony Appliance runs on the Intel (News - Alert) ATOM N2800 2x1,86Ghz, according to company officials, and is built on a solid-state platform with no moving parts, making it completely silent.

The system is constructed in a tough rust-free 100 percent aluminum case with the famed beroNet modularity for any connectivity scenario, whether it’s RI, BRI, Analogue, Hybrid, GSM or Skype (News - Alert) line interfaces.

The platform is extensible with a built-in PCM Interface, while being continually managed and monitored through beroNet’s robust cloud platform. It stands at only 1U with available 19“ rack mounting brackets and operates at under 24W, making it the most environmentally friendly system on the market today.

Earlier in August, beroNet had announced the signing of a partnership agreement with VoIPoint SP.K. This agreement makes VoIPoint SP.K. the official preferred partner of beroNet’s advanced VoIP connectivity hardware in Poland.

VoIPoint SP.K. will provide high-quality services in Poland for all beroNet Gateways and Failover solutions, including localized support and administration of beroNet’s unique Cloud Manage Solution.

VoIPoint SP.K.’s portfolio combines the beroFix Gateway (News - Alert) with a wide range of additional devices such as Yealink IP-Phones, enabling their extensive network of local resellers and technology integrators to offer a high-quality, end-to-end VoIP and unified communication solution.
