By SIP Trunking Report Contributor

The modern day company operates with employees in home offices, start-up locations—even on-site at customer locales. Toshiba’s IP business telephone systems offer state of the art features for dynamic businesses of all sizes. The flexible Strata CIX system can change with the evolving needs of a company and assist in streamlining the communications wherever and however the users work.

Toshiba recently announced that its Strata CIX system was selected by Baisch & Skinner, a wholesale floral supplier. The company was looking to improve its customer service and was looking to deploy an advanced telephone system to achieve its goal.

By making use of the wireless handsets both inside and outside of the buildings, the new system from Toshiba allows the company to achieve mobility for its entire workforce. While they are on the phone with their retail florist customers, it also allows the company to look at their floral inventory.

To support more than 30,000 inbound and outbound calls every week, the new product from Toshiba provides dependable and durable business telephone systems, the company has stated.

“Together, Toshiba and ATC have met our key objectives of providing dependable wireless connectivity and handsets, which have succeeded in taking our workforce mobile. This enables us to provide enhanced customer service and facilitates improved communication between our employees," said John Baisch, president of Baisch & Skinner.”

Recently, the company partnered with Polycom to provide an innovative wireless solution featuring the SpectraLink 8400 series of wireless telephones. The partnership provides an affordable, feature-rich wireless communications solution with several innovative features including VoIP call center for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).
