iSYS, a wholly owned subsidiary of WidePoint, has been awarded the second option period contract to provide mobile Telecom Expense Management Services (TEMS) to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

This is the second of four one-year option periods of the contract's total five-year period and brings the total contract value to about $33 million dollars if all options are exercised.

WidePoint, a provider of cloud-based telecommunications life-cycle and trusted cybersecurity management, notes that the second option period award has a contract value of about $11.6 million dollars.

Government agencies can leverage mobile expense management solutions from iSYS to gain insight into procurement optimization, compliance, invoice management, usage details and service activation.

WidePoint claims iSYS TEMS solutions have delivered up to 65 percent NET (News - Alert) savings on mobile budgets to numerous federal agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).

iSYS has also helped many state and local government agencies with its TEM services.
