eZuce and NextPlane’s partnership is paying off, with eZuce’s openUCTM solution completing its certification testing with NextPlane. As such, the eZuce openUC is a new part of NextPlane’s UC Exchange as a fully Certified UC Program, ready for the public.

eZuce openUC has full IM federation with Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync, allowing users to share presence and custom status messages on other UC clients, and enhanced presence with federated colleagues. eZuce also has UC cubed, transitioning UC into an open, standards-based software and IT application that’s socially enabled.

With openUC and Unite solutions, companies can transform into social organizations. Not only will the companies themselves see more productivity and fewer costs thanks to integrating applications and functions vital to their business across platforms, but IT will be able to make the transition to cloud and CaaS models with ease, while also handling the rise of BYOD.

“We’re glad to include eZuce openUC in our UC Exchange program,” said Farzin Shahidi, founder and CEO at NexPlane, Inc. “In particular, its seamless IM federation with Microsoft Lync and OCS enables users to experience collaboration the way it was designed to be- easy and reliable. We look forward to strengthening our technology alliance with eZuce as we continue to expand our federated services to Enterprises through strategic partnerships such as this.”

Thanks to its NextPlane certification, eZuce has proven its ability and openUC’s flexibility. The full IM federation will prove very useful in the current UC environment, and the solution has great promise for those who need to transition to the cloud, CaaS, or BYOD.
