Portlogic Systems, Inc. recently confirmed the formation on a new subsidiary called VOIP 1, Inc. The company is set to move forward within the mobile arena and will use the new subsidiary to carry out its detailed plans.
Portlogic is a specialist in mobile and internet software and kiosk solutions, designed for electronic payments, marketing delivery and community communication systems.
In a statement, Joseph Putegnat, president and CEO, "It is a very exciting time for the telecom industry. And this represents a major leap forward in marketability, revenue and profitability and will give Portlogic Systems a new platform to further its goals in the mobile arena and more. Initially, VOIP 1 will supply mobile and voice solutions to major telecom carriers around the world. We will continue to expand our vision to the retail area, on a select worldwide basis to both businesses and individuals, by offering our exclusive telecom solutions of advanced cloud-based IP-PBX (News - Alert) technology and Smartphone mobile offerings."
Established as a FCC, 214 licensed, VoIP-based international telecommunications carrier, VOIP 1, Inc. will serve as a platform supporting the delivery of voice and data solutions.
According to the Visiongain (News - Alert) report, “The Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Market 2012-2017: Prospects for Skype and Other Players,” it was found that global revenue from VoIP in 2012 will reach $65 billion. The total number of mobile VoIP minutes, according to Juniper Research (News - Alert), is expected to touch 470.6 billion minutes by 2015.
By 2015, the United States will reportedly account for 135 billion mobile VoIP minutes.
Juniper Research’s analysts also revealed that by 2017 there will be around one billion users of mobile VoIP apps and services.
Portlogic Systems, Inc. has driven the market for mobile and Internet software solutions designed specifically for electronic payments systems, ticketing and marketing delivery, and community communication systems.
