Diga-Talk, a wholly owned network of A Beep, LLC, is now offering free airtime to all new subscribers signing up from January 15, 2013 through February 28, 2013 on the Diga-Talk network.

Since its inception in 2009, Diga-Talk has been offering a variety of services to the entire greater Chicago metropolitan area. The network has continuously grown, providing additional capacity, features, and tower sites with a larger coverage area.

The company is currently powering its push to talk service throughout the greater Chicagoregion and its all-digital secure communication network is touted as being an easy-to-use instant communications solution only for other properly programmed Diga-Talk units. It can be programmed for group calls to speak with all of the Diga-Talk units in an enterprise at the same time and it can also make one-to-one direct calls.

According to the company, Diga-Talk offers inherent security against casual electronic eavesdropping via its NXDN digital air interface. It also includes NXDN voice and data scrambling for security against external threats while providing confidentiality within the same system and talk group. Further, its inter-network links are secured through encrypted VPN tunneling, and it boasts the ability to automatically validate individual subscriber radio hardware by ESN (a unique factory-embedded Electronic Serial Number ) rather than changing the system's unit and group ID lists in the event a unit is lost, stolen, or removed permanently or temporarily from service.

At this time, it is also promoting its Diga-Talk unit to subscribers in permanent mounted vehicle units and in hand-held portable units. This durable design will deliver many years of dependable service, said company officials.
