Vitelity SIP Trunking and Sangoma Vega VoIP Gateway Products Now Certified Interoperable

By SIP Trunking Report Contributing Writer

Provider of SIP trunking and telephony solutions, Vitelity, along with Sangoma Technologies Corporation, has just recently completed interoperability testing of Sangoma's Vega series of gateways, certifying them for use with Vitelity's SIP trunking service. The two companies partnered in order to simplify the process.

Indeed, Sangoma and Vitelity together developed a simple configuration tool that will enable integrators to start using Sangoma's Vega VoIP gateway products with Vitelity SIP trunking endpoints quickly and easily.

"We have a growing number of customers using the Sangoma Vega gateways operating with our service, and together with Sangoma, we are committed to making future deployments quick and easy," said Kerry Garrison, vice president of Strategic Initiatives at Vitelity, in a statement. "With the new tool, customers deploying Vega gateways can now do so with ease and with the assurance that the solution will be supported by both companies."

Sangoma vice president of sales, Doug Kim, went on to add that working with partners like Vitelity becomes an increasingly important part of the company's success as it continues to expand its presence in the service provider market. He also said that, "The availability of this configuration tool, along with the existing Vega browser-based GUI management tools, truly makes the Vega Series of VoIP Gateways the easiest to deploy and most cost-effective solution for Vitelity resellers and customers."

Sangoma is a leading provider of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP communications systems for voice and data. The company's director of marketing, Jeff Dworkin, will participate in two educational sessions in the upcoming ITEXPO Miami 2013 Conference and Expo, which takes place January 30 through February 1 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Dworkin will join a panel of industry experts for the session "Why Your Enterprise Network Needs an SBC" at 9:00 a.m. on January 30 as well as "The Future of Desktop Communications and Collaboration" on February 1 at 11:00 a.m.
