Since snom’s start back in 1998, the company has received a number of industry accolades for its VoIP products and innovation. Today, as technology continues to advance, snom produces products each year that maintain its credibility and market demand.
For example, the company is one of the first to create VoIP telephones for business communications based on the open standard SIP. For ten years, it has dedicated its efforts to creating high-quality, fast and inexpensive solutions for homes and large enterprises by working with carriers, Internet Service providers and OEM customers. Its latest collection to enter the market is its Microsoft Lync qualified products, the snom 7xx series, which will be demonstrated this week at ITEXPO Miami 2013.
The snom UC edition of business phones, 7xx series, which includes snom 710, 720 and 760, maintains snoms’ reputation for notable products. They are the fifth generation of SIP telephones and are the first and only SIP endpoints to earn “Qualified for Lync” status, as it has the best compatibility with Microsoft Lync.
In addition, company officials revealed today the 7xx series new UC Apollo firmware will be previewed at ITEXPO. This offers Microsoft Lync server management features, ultimately creating more efficient configuration and installation of endpoints in a multi-site enterprise, along with advanced features including boss/administration, music on hold, call park and integrated presence buttons.
Just as there are many different layers in a business, three models are being offered, designed for the executive level, advanced level employee and entry-level workforce. Each phone boasts programmable PBX-style keys and rich visuals designed to help business operate more smoothly and efficiently.
