At this week’s ITEXPO (News - Alert) Miami 2013, companies are metaphorically sunbathing in the light of eager and interested attendees who are scouring the showroom for the latest and greatest technologies. One exhibitor and Gold Sponsor of the show, snom, impressed lucky show participants today with its newly expanded portfolio of desktop phones qualified for Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync.

In debuting its expanded line-up of SIP Lync-qualified business phones – its new, award-winning 7xx series – the company only further cements its position as a principal figure in the SIP space. Even more, the company’s standards-based portfolio of IP desktop phones represents the industry’s largest and most comprehensive offering of endpoints fully interoperable with Microsoft Lync, a statement adds.

The snom 7xx series – including the snom 760, 720 and 710 IP Phones – will serve as an ideal business solution offering affordable, full-featured IP phones for workers at any level. The snom 760 UC edition desktop phone is touted as being at “executive level,” and is designed for the corner office. Meanwhile, the snom 720 UC edition IP phone is specifically designed for the “middle manager or information-driven knowledge worker.” Last but not least, the snom 710 UC edition phone serves as an ideal entry-level phone for standard workforce.

Out of its six-phone UC edition line-up, snom will headline its snom 710, 720 and 760 IP phones at booth #429. The company takes pride in its UC phones being what the official statement describes as “the industry’s first and largest family of SIP endpoints to earn ‘Qualified for Microsoft Lync’ status,” which is reportedly the highest designation for both full interoperability and integration of standards-based desktop phones in Lync deployment environments, the statement adds.

Even further demonstrating its expertise in this arena, snom has been invited and will be participating in a panel discussion on Friday, February 1 to offer insights and knowledge on Microsoft Lync during a session titled, “Is Microsoft Lync Living Up to its Hype?” Mike Storella (News - Alert), chief operating officer at snom technology, will be representing the company during this session.

To find out more about GOLD Sponsor snom as well as Mike Storella, visit the company at ITEXPO Miami 2013, happening now in Miami, Florida. snom will be exhibiting at booth #429, and Storella is speaking during “Is Microsoft Lync Living Up to its Hype?” For more information on ITEXPO Miami 2013, click here.
