RingByName is collaborating with TeleDynamics and Grandstream in an effort to reach out to the lucrative phone equipment market for smaller business.
The product that is the focus of the initiative is Biz in a Box. It is a mobility solution which offers PBX telephone systems and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
The three companies will join in the technology and marketing alliance to increase channel reach and let value added resellers, dealers, and telecom agents provide an off-the-shelf, cloud-based VoIP option, according to a company statement.
Biz in a Box also has a customer relationship management (CRM) tool. The tool provides employees information and other data about the caller. Employees can also manage and track calls from their computers.
Another feature is Smart Receptionist, which greets callers by name, identifies employee availability and routes calls. It provides desktop and mobile apps as well.
It is marketed to the $50 billion small business phone equipment market, with a focus on dealers and value added resellers.
