Naver Corporation Adds Fun to its Line VoIP and Messaging Application with LINE Play

Since the release of the Line VoIP and Messaging Application, Japan-based Naver Corporation has been on a quest to design multiplatform apps that leverage better services which gives public phones priority in the network during natural disasters.

The latest addition is LINE Play. Being the official avatar service for the app, LINE Play allows users to create edited images into an avatar, decorate rooms, switch diary entries and easily chat with friends.

LINE Play unleashes the creativity in users by allowing the editing of camera photos to create either normal male or female avatars or custom copies using a provided gallery of eyes, ears, mouths and noses. In addition to this, it gives users the chance to try thier hand in interior décor or clad your avatar with the latest fashion gear from over 1,500 items to choose from (the number grows at the pace of 200 per week).

The LINE Play addition comes with a diary for users’ thoughts as well as photo sharing with room for other people to comment on what users post. Apart from playing with your favorite LINE characters, you can now visit your friends’ room and do some chores to earn gems or connect and play with your LINE friends.

LINE Play changes how users chat with thier friends by increasing the fun of having one avatar chat (for instance, you can use action stickers to make your avatar laugh or frown) and the option of having a lounge chat. The lounge chat feature allows you to join and share on a topic of your choice with other app users.

The best thing about it all is that Naver Corporation offers the app for free on Google Play and the AppStore. Its ease of use has earned it top status in the free chat app category in about 40 countries.
