VoIP Supply recently announced the Cisco (News - Alert) SPA504G Salvage Edition is part of its VoIP Supply Refresh line of reconditioned VoIP equipment.

Refresh by VoIP Supply is a program initiated to meet the needs for a low cost alternative to new VoIP equipment. All Refresh products go through an exhaustive 10 step reconditioning process in VoIP Supply’s dedicated 5,000 square foot reconditioning center in which the product is examined, upgraded, set to defaults and repackaged. With the latest Cisco SPA504G (VSRF) Salvage Edition, a limited edition version of a Refresh Cisco SPA504G, the offering has been customized to give it a unique look and feel.

The telephony features and the shape of a Cisco SPA504G is retained and some new features are added such as fresh coat of shiny black paint; a panel around the display replaced with custom wood panel engraved with the Cisco logo and SPA504G model number; numerical dial pad keys have been replaced with old typewriter keys; a four-direction knob for menu navigation with the directional pad of a Nintendo NES controller, and more.
