Tata Communications Helps Service Providers with Voice Business Apps

Tata Communications (News - Alert) is helping service providers provide better and more efficient voice offerings. With its release of Voice Business Apps, Tata Communications is providing new hosted tools and managed services to make voice business offerings both profitable and efficient.


There are several tools and solutions offered in the new Voice Business Apps, such as the Virtual Point of Presence (PoP) capability from Tata Communications. With it, carriers can send traffic with Tata’s next generation IP infrastructure, while keeping their own routing under control. It also offers a variety of hosted tools and managed services, designed to help deal with the challenges presented by the international voice market.

Also included are capabilities designed to handle critical aspects of international voice. It addresses the underlying network, with a Best Value Routing engine that determines the best balance of cost and quality for each call, keeping quality up and costs low. With its back office tools, such as rate, billing invoice, provisioning and reporting tools, it’s simple to track both costs and efficiency.

With the Voice Business Apps, customers can address common business challenges such as network standardization, fraud management, migration to IP and more. The services, tools and systems included can be provided on demand, or managed by Tata Communications on behalf of a carrier.
