iotum, a provider of online collaboration and conference calling services, announced the acquisition of Rondee, Inc., a provider of free conference call service in America.
Through this acquisition, the company is further expanding its user base where its customers will now have access to all of InstantConference.com suite of services. This deal is believed to boost iotum’s customer base while further amortizing its infrastructure and core technology.
Founded in 2004, iotum is an international company with roots in VoIP, telecom switch development, and voice and mobile services. The company offers several teleconferencing platforms and collaboration services to millions of users worldwide. Back in the month of May, 2013, iotum acquired California-based Global Conference Partners, provider of FreeConference.com and associated teleconferencing services.

To minimize customer disruption we’ve integrated Rondee’s log-in IDs and On Demand PINs with InstantConference,” Jason Martin, president and chief executive officer at iotum said in a statement. “With that, we’re now giving Rondee customers access to topnotch audio-conferencing capabilities via the InstantConference.com brand.”
