As the number of VoIP subscribers reaches 410 million by 2015, the company will be experiencing even higher revenues. In order to continue growing and face the challenges the company will face in the future, it has appointed Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer as Chairman of the Board and CEO effective immediately.
Dr. Sawyer brings more than four decades of experience in public and private high-technology field. In the public sector he is known for being the senior advisor to President Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and George H. W. Bush.
In the private sector, Dr. Sawyer has been employed as a high level executive, including CEO for many large organizations including: Chairman and CEO of NACT Telecommunications, Chief Technology Officer and board member of Global Light Telecommunications, Chairman and a Founder of Sacred Circle Health Care, Inc., Chairman and CEO of Innova Enterprises, Inc., Chairman and CEO of Brazil Gold Corp., and President and CEO of Mesa Corporation Inc..
The move to appoint Dr. Sawyer comes as the company reaches into the final development stages of its patent portfolio. Managing this intellectual property and capitalizing on the technology requires extensive experience. The Board of Directors believes the person they appointed is the right choice to help them move forward.
