Matrix Comsec to Showcase Solutions at ITEXPO

Contributing Writer

Matrix Comsec produces telecom and security solutions for businesses of all sizes. To showcase its most recent offerings, including its NAVAN CNX200 "Office-in-a-Box," Matrix has joined the lineup at ITEXPO in Las Vegas.

Matrix originally unveiled Office-in-a-Box at ITEXPO 2012. The CNX200 is a single device that enables voice and data communications for enterprises with 24 or fewer users. Small businesses get data routing, IP-PBX, firewall security, a VPN, a VoIP-GSM gateway and a Wi-Fi access point in a single package.

Additionally, CNX200 offers mobile extensions for Android and iPhone. Employees can have multiple features on their smartphones including the ability to dial using their extension numbers, caller ID, three-way conferencing, transfer, call holding and voicemail access.

For service providers, the CNX200 enables bundling of voice and data solutions so that companies can offer managed communication and broadband services either over 3G/HSPA or leased line.

At ITEXPO, Matrix also plans to showcase its VoIP Gateways. Each is optimized to work in an SIP environment, and each is compatible with a wide range of ITSPs, hosted PBXs, PBXs, IP/TDM and softswitches.

Each gateway interfaces VoIP with GSM/3G, POTS and ISDN networks that are part of integrated platforms. Using Matrix gateways, organizations can launch advanced applications like SIP trunking, multi-site connectivity, disaster recovery and 3G Internet access, as well as remove survivability, while maintaining their existing telephony structure.

In addition to enabling enterprise communications, Matrix offers solutions for military, power grid and hospitality industry communications. Its customers include names like DuPont, Carrier, Siemens, Johnson & Johnson, American Express and the National AIDS Control Organization.

ITEXPO will run from Aug. 26 to 29 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Matrix Comsec will exhibit at Booth #527.
