3CX Launches 3CX Phone System 12

By SIP Trunking Report Contributor

3CX, developer of 3CX Phone System and 3CX Mobile Device Manager, recently launched 3CX Phone System 12, the company’s most feature-rich, stable and scalable phone system to date, featuring new multiplatform clients for Windows, Android and iPhone devices. The system is available to download and is CTI ready, allowing clients to control their IP desk phone from the client.

The 3CX Phone System is an open standard unified communications platform for Windows that works with standard SIP phones and replaces any proprietary PBX. It is more manageable than standard PBX systems and delivers substantial cost savings while increasing productivity. Some of the world's leading companies and organizations use the 3CX Phone System, including Boeing, the Caterham F1 Team, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts, Harley Davidson and MIT.

The new solution boasts many features such as a new interface with improved Android and iPhone user experience, a native app for a more seamless and responsive user experience, and easy call forwarding setup from client’s smartphone. The 3CX Phone System 12 detects if it’s not on the LAN and changes its configuration automatically. It can also be provisioned from anywhere; all users have to do is simply click on a provisioning attachment.

"We freed the IT Administrators from the expensive, cumbersome and outdated proprietary PBXs – now 3CX is releasing users from the office and desktop with unparalleled mobility and Unified Communications features,” said Nick Galea, 3CX CEO, in a statement.

The softphones have also been integrated into the solution, allowing clients to easily perform blind or attended transfers from the interface. Moreover, the solution can handle multiple lines on all platforms – necessary for conferencing, attended transfer etc. The user can also create conference calls on 3CX Phone System.

3CX recently launched the on-premises edition of 3CX Mobile Device Manager for Windows Server, a user-friendly and affordable on-premises mobile device management solution that lets businesses retain full control of their wireless devices and site tracking data in a private cloud or on premise without the administration issues.
