Citel Technologies, a provider of network-edge products to help enterprises realize cost and productivity benefits, signed an authorized reseller agreement with South Africa-based Celabix.
Citel explained that its core products, including the Portico TVA, the Citel C-4110 SIP/IAX2 IP Phone, the EXTender product suite and the EDAC (Expandable Digital to Analog Converter), help users overcome the obstacles within the VoIP migration opportunity.
With the Portico Telephone VoIP Adapter (TVA) one can easily migrate to VoIP utilizing existing digital (PBX), P phone (Centrex), or analog handsets and existing phone cabling. The solution’s advanced VoIP features including IVR and simultaneous ring are delivered to the handset, while features requiring a larger screen are accessed through a browser window. It is also dubbed as a quick and cost-effective means of VoIP migration.
Reshan Reddy, managing director of Celabix, commented, “We are excited to join Citel’s growing distributor network. As leaders in the VOIP migration arena, we believe the Citel’s Portico product range will certainly be key in transforming the South African VOIP market.
