Lauzon Group Deploys Avaya IP Office

Avaya (News - Alert) Canada recently announced that it has entered into a strategic collaboration with the Lauzon Group. The best-in-class Avaya IP Office will now be implemented by the Lauzon Group for improving customer services and decreasing expenses.


Avaya IP Office is intended for small and midsize business communications. Employees at Lauzon Group’s Audi, Porsche and two Volkswagen dealerships, in the Laval, Quebec area, will now be able to link up and collaborate instantaneously on nearly any device in a rapid and simplified manner to better serve their customers.

In a statement, Michel Larin, general manager of Porsche Lauzon, said, "Our clients expect a high level of service from our luxury dealerships, and thanks to the improved internal and external communication that Avaya IP Office delivers, we can now provide our customers with the highest possible standard of customer service. Our mobile workers are now much more accessible and easier to reach, and in the long run our bills will be much cheaper. This is a great bonus for us, as it will minimize our operating costs by that much more."

Prior to the Avaya solution, Lauzon Group was using individual local telephone systems with a fixed number of lines for each of the dealerships. The latest Avaya solution, deployed by Innov-IT, Avaya’s channel associate, offers an extremely operational, centralized communications system for the four locations. Employees at Lauzon Group can also check their voice messages via their e-mail accounts with Avaya IP Office, making it easy for the mobile employees at the dealerships.

Ross Pellizarri, president and managing director of Avaya Canada, added, "Customers at luxury car dealerships are accustomed to world-class customer service, so we are extremely pleased to be providing the Lauzon Group with a new world-class telephony solution. Avaya IP Office is a dependable and intuitive solution that will greatly improve communications, cost-efficiency and customer service at all four of their dealerships."

Lauzon Group will save nearly $1,200 each month, translating to $14,400 annually with Avaya IP Office. The solution also offers augmented mobility and versatility for the mobile employees. Customer service and communication will be enhanced as employees can transfer calls across all four dealerships in a simplified manner.
