DalCom Releases New Product for VoIP Business

DalCom Telecom has unveiled a new business solution, DalCom Matrix, for those interested in developing their voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) product business.

With DalCom Matrix service, DalCom partitions its own system to be used by its members. This service allows providers to enjoy a low cost service, and also security of an established and high efficient VoIP network, according to the company.

Providers can use as much or as little of any necessary part of the network, and also with this latest offering, they can start at any level and grow as needed. Company officials said the DalCom Matrix eliminates the need of a massive investment in equipment, months of testing and configuration.

In addition, it also eliminates the monthly recurring expenses for IP and other providers, along with the need for a full time staff to support the daily technical operation.

Fred Hakim, CEO at DalCom, stated that in the last few years, many entrepreneurs and small operations believed that they were able to put up a VoIP network simply by downloading Asterisk (News - Alert) software and configuring it.

He said they believed that they could commercialize a single Asterisk machine VoIP network.

“However, after many months of configuration and testing, they were not able to deploy a successful commercial product relying on a Single Asterisk machine,” explained Hakim. “Our services will allow individuals to use our existing technology to service their own business and communications needs.”

For any company looking to get into the telecommunications business or use this service, DalCom is offering its own technical services as a “one stop shop.” Hakim said that his company is allowing other entities to tap into the company’s resources without having to spend countless hours and dollars of their own.

“By partitioning our services, it gives providers the chance to inexpensively and efficiently move forward with their business goals. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved,” Hakim added.

Currently, the services offered by the company include session initiation protocol (SIP) registration; SIP trunking; billing; Web portal for end user and also Web portal for reseller; domestic termination, domestic origination; integration origination; voice mail; Internet faxing; and more.
