ITEXPO: FaxBack to Demonstrate HTTPS Fax Platform

FaxBack, the VoIP Fax Server Company, has announced its new HTTPS Fax Platform is being evaluated by more than 40 leading carriers, enterprises and SMB customers.

The company’s platform is designed to enable fax machines and fax servers to achieve the same VoIP cost savings as voice calls while still maintaining traditional TDM fax reliability over Internet-based VoIP, WiFi, cellular or satellite connections.

FaxBack (News - Alert) is taking advantage of the opportunities at ITEXPO East 2010 this week to demonstrate how its HTTPS Fax Platform can provide significant advantages over Internet-based SIP T.38 fax. The HTTPS Fax Platform delivers improved reliability, security, simplicity and bandwidth reduction.

FaxBack’s HTTPS Fax Platform consists of four key elements and is positioned as the most comprehensive VoIP Fax Solution in the industry. The HTTPS-enabled Fax ATA reliably connects fax machines to VoIP providers over Internet connections, while it also adds unique features such as fax image archiving and e-mail notifications.

A Free Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange 2010 UM Fax Connector is one option that can be added to enable enterprises and SMBs to connect fax to Exchange and deliver faxes to a person’s inbox. It also supports Microsoft Fax client connections. This provides a base platform with an easy upgrade path to NET (News - Alert) SatisFAXtion, FaxBack’s full featured enterprise class and SMB server.

With the Fax Cloud Solution, carriers and enterprises gain access to easy integration into a virtualized environment and client connections or premise-based fax server connections over a cloud. The VoIP Fax Server provides enterprises and SMBs with cost savings and UC integration.

The HTTPS Fax Platform from FaxBack enables fax machines and fax servers to stream fax data over the Internet with TDM level reliability. The solution scales to a full DS3 per server and offers full fail-over redundancy. In addition, multi-carrier architecture facilitates carrier-to-carrier handoffs via HTTPS to make fax traffic routing easier.

“The Future of fax will center on VoIP and HTTPS connectivity, and FaxBack is the first company to recognize and promote this,” said Eli Mann, CEO for Fusspot, one of the providers evaluating the HTTPS Fax Platform, in a statement.

“FaxBack’s new HTTPS Fax Platform helps us improve the reliability and performance of our VoIP based Fax offering, and it helps us keep our costs low to remain competitive, while simplifying our integration and security requirements. We look forward to showcasing the future of VoIP Fax this week at ITEXPO (News - Alert), with our new HTTPS Fax Platform.”

In other FaxBack news, the company announced last week its agenda for ITEXPO, which included plans to display its new HTTPS Fax Platform and embedded HTTPS Fax ATA.
