Ecrio Announces New Partners for FastTrack Framework

By SIP Trunking Report Contributor

Ecrio, a provider of communications and commerce client software and solutions, has named five mobile companies– AFD Tech, Aplix, CIBER, L&T Infotech and Persistent Systems - as its partners who will work on the new FastTrack framework.

Ecrio’s FastTrack client framework allows developers to add rich IP communications, such as VoIP, rich messaging and content sharing, to applications written in Java, Flash, Android and other popular environments.
Developers can do so without coding in ‘C’, or having specialized knowledge of SIP, IMS or RCS technology.
Moreover, the Ecrio Applicator interface of the FastTrack framework is said to allow developers to just add commands for functions using unmodified run-time application environments.
Ecrio founder and CEO Nagesh Challa said, “RCS, One Voice and other industry initiatives are on the right track, with FastTrack now offering an operator and developer shortcut to new services. We look forward to working with these partners and adding new ones in the months ahead.”
“The industry has been looking for breakthrough ways for developers to quickly build compelling offers, on mobile platforms such as Aplix’ JBlend, that tap rich communications. Ecrio’s FastTrack is a big step forward, particularly when paired with JBlend and services made possible by MIDP 3.0,” said Ryu Koriyama, CEO of Aplix.
Vir Bhanu, vice president and area director for CIBER India, also said that Ecrio is a company that has enabled an ecosystem where mobile application developers, operators, and ODMs can quickly deploy innovative and evolving rich IP communications.
Bhanu believes that CIBER is well positioned to develop, integrate and deploy these solutions.
