Andover, Mass.-based provider of cloud enabled enterprise hosting and application management services NaviSite, Inc. has announced that it has become a corporate sponsor member of the Cloud Security Alliance.
NaviSite (News - Alert) will work closely with the other members of the alliance to establish and promote best practices for security in cloud computing. The alliance members will address key security related concerns around adoption of Cloud Computing for mission critical enterprise applications. NaviSite has over ten years of experience in managing mission critical, enterprise applications such as Oracle (News - Alert), PeopleSoft, Siebel, and JD Edwards. The expertise the company has developed in the managing and running these applications will help it put mission critical applications in a cloud environment.
