RingCube Technologies to Participate in Las Vegas McAfee Focus10 Security Conference

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

RingCube Technologies, a provider of workspace virtualization, will present at the Las Vegas McAfee (News - Alert) Focus10 security conference. The company’s co-founder, Kiran Kamity, will be present on a panel session, “Empower Mobility with Desktop Virtualization on Encrypted USB Drives” at the conference.

The session will brief attendees about business drivers for mobile desktop virtualization, how to address challenges, proven solutions for securing virtualized information, and real world implementations. RingCube (News - Alert) is also demonstrating its vDesk secure desktop virtualization functionality enabled on encrypted USB storage devices at Focus10 in Booth No. 668, among other solutions.

Kamity has noted that McAfee Focus10 is one of the industry’s most anticipated events for learning about the latest technologies to thwart multi-pronged attacks, achieve compliance, and reduce risk, and they are pleased to team up with McAfee to present on this growing topic.

RingCube has partnered with McAfee to offer organizations with a solution that truly addresses customers’ needs around high performance computing, increased security, greater mobility and a seamless user experience.

RingCube vDesk solution delivers enterprise desktop virtualization that increases user productivity, lowers desktop management costs and eliminates the performance and resource overhead of legacy virtualization technologies. Users can run their vDesk workspace at the office or on unmanaged PCs – at home, or at a client site.

Desktop virtualization, operating systems, embedded systems, and computer networking expert, Kiran Kamity holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in material science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where he was awarded with a President’s (of India) Silver medal for outstanding academic performance. Kamity has been at Network Appliance (News - Alert) working in the core platform group, prior to co-founding RingCube.
