Digital solutions vendor Gogobeans has wrapped up a deal to offer its digital locker solution to the customers of VoIP carrier Chance Telecom.
The deal brings in a chance for Chance Telecom customers to own digital locker on the Internet so that they can store their information safely. They can access the locker whenever they like, from any Internet accessible device, to store, organize and share files.
The deal, which was reached this month, will roll-out in December with a limited trial run and will extend to the complete Chance Telecom network January 14th, 2011.
“As the market evolves, VoIP companies, like Chance Telecom, are looking for an edge; something to set them apart from the competition,” said Robert Hayden, COO of Gogobeans, explaining why Chance Telecom chose their locker solution.
Offering a simple, secure way to store, organize and share digital assets from any Internet ready device may serve as an “edge” for Chance Telecom to retain current customer base, as well as attract new customers.
Gogobeans’s solution allows users upload photos, documents, presentations, video, address books, music, and other forms of digital property to their locker. They can either keep them secrete or share with others on social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter. The stored property can even be tagged with keywords for easy searching.
“This helps our customers be more productive because they can store their information in a private, secure space in the converged voice and data cloud,” explained William Chance, president of Chance Telecom. “As our landscape becomes increasingly competitive, it’s critical that we stay on the forefront of technology so that we can remain in an industry leading position.”
