Sipera (News - Alert) Systems, a provider of real-time Unified Communications (UC) enablement and security, announced partnership with security and network management solutions provider Future Com to offer secure UC solutions to enterprises.
The companies also announced that Future Com has joined Sipera's Reseller Program as a Gold Tier Reseller.
The partnership between Future Com and Sipera enables enterprises to satisfy industry security and privacy mandates. They will be able to benefit from real-time UC collaboration and secure business critical communications.
Recently Sipera Systems (News - Alert) announced its innovative VoIP security solutions that enable rapid and simple compliance with new guidance issued by the industry council for payment card privacy.
Sipera's UC-Sec appliances are designed to proactively address security risks associated with UC applications such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), instant messaging, IP video and collaboration tools.
The "Borderless UC"architecture from Sipera enables all communications to be encrypted and compliant on any UC device, at any internal and external location.
Following the partnership, Future Com is working with a major aviation industry customer, updating its security infrastructure to include UC, using best practice recommendations from Sipera and Future Com, company officials said.
“By partnering with Sipera, we can better ensure our enterprise customers' communications are compliant with HIPAA, PCI (News - Alert) DSS and SOX mandates,” said Douglas Hollenshead, CEO and president for Future Com, in a statement.
Future Com Professional Services include the McAfee (News
- Alert) ePolicy Orchestrator Audit Service. This solution analyzes existing ePolicy environments to determine proper operations and identify any mis-configurations or inoperative features.
“And, given our joint McAfee expertise, we can comprehensively conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing, and deploy integrated UC security and network management systems, in those environments,” Hollenshead added.
