- Alert), a renowned provider of actionable Intelligence solutions and value-added services recently announced that it has helped New Delhi’ India’s G.D. Goenka Public School to enhance the safety and security at the campus.
Kochhar Security Solutions, a Verint partner and a provider of system integration and innovative security solutions, helped G.D. Goenka Public School deploy Verint's Nextiva IP video solution across its campuses. In a press release, Verint explained that the move is designed to ensure enhanced safety and security of students, faculty and assets across the three GD Birla campuses in New Delhi’s one of the most bustling neighborhoods.
In the release, Verint revealed that Kochhar Security Solutions has designed the architecture of the video surveillance system. By sourcing the technology, Kochhar also provided systems integration and implementation services. The company has also been contracted for providing post-implementation service and support.
G.D. Goenka Public School is part of the G.D. Goenka Group, a leading educational institution with over 17 years of excellence in the field of education, and operates campuses in Delhi and throughout India.
The video surveillance system has been implemented in the school’s three campuses in April 2011 and the campuses reported significant benefits. The Nextiva suit comes complete with video management software, IP cameras and encoders and enable G.D. Goenka Public School to capture high-quality video images, optimize bandwidth and storage utilization, leverage flexible video search capabilities, and benefit from programmable video retention and storage.

Earlier, Verint announced that a leading home prescription delivery service in the U.S. has implemented its Impact 360 for Back-Office Operations solution — a workforce optimization software. The move is aimed at enhancing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the client’s back-office operations by tracking service levels throughout the day and more closely aligning its staffing with capacity requirements.
