Packet Plus and Dini Group Offer New Approach to Debug Networking on Logic Emulation Platforms

Packet Plus and Dini Group recently announced that they have formed a partnership to provide advanced tools for networking designs during the beginning of the verification process. The two companies will ensure that the products from both organizations work together seamlessly to give their clients a good experience.

Packet Plus made use of a Dini Group development board to stand in as the client’s target design as part of the development process.  In a release, Rick Denker, CEO of Packet Plus, said, "The Dini Group has provided an extremely valuable complement to Packet Plus.  Their advanced prototyping boards work as an ideal development platform, demonstration vehicle, and provide us the ability to work with our customers earlier in their design process."

Packet Plus’s cutting edge P+ 1000 embedded packet debugger has the ability to control and interact with networking designs. Its pricing is targeted at the individual engineer.  The P+ 1000 comes with packet-by-packet control as well as the capability of working the protocol stack at any given layer. This can also be done anywhere on the symbolic editing and the packet injection layers.

The Dini Group has come up with an interface card that connects their development boards with the P+ 1000 product.  Mike Dini said, "Our work with Packet Plus demonstrates our commitment to providing leading edge capabilities for our customers. This capability allows our customers to perform more comprehensive validation early in their development process."
