The new Pronto VR and NetBox VR from S2 Security Corporation (S2) are stated to be fully-integrated small scale web-based total security management systems that can be deployed for seamless integration of video and access events. This enables users to enjoy more control over their video and physical security.
The new VR series products from S2 supposedly blends high-performance video capabilities with the company’s access control and monitoring software in a single network appliance.
S2 Security claimed that it produces a unique line of open architecture, scalable, IP network-ready products for the physical security industry that integrate access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, and temperature monitoring. The company now delivers high availability capabilities and full compliance to NERC (News - Alert) standards and also offers FIPS-201/HSPD-12 Compliance.
Some of the features and benefits of the VR series solutions are that users from any place can have easy access and control over video surveillance with the help of the web interface; real-time salvaging of video from the activity log, camera positioning from the landing page; forensic desktop feature integrates transaction history with recorded video; ability to search videos based on time, person, event or camera location; no per-camera licensing fees; and more.
Officials with the company remarked that since their founding a decade ago, S2 Security has led with best-in-class technology and service, and this new release builds on that legacy of innovation. With the launch of their VR Series, S2 is creating a completely new product category that not only integrates video with physical security in one powerful and easy system, but is also very comfortable to use. Most importantly, the VR Series lets S2 system owners get more out of the video they capture, providing a new level of security awareness.
In other news, S2 Security Corporation recently announced that its popular S2 NetBox line now delivers High Availability capabilities and full compliance to NERC standards. The feature update to the S2 NetBox product line-version 4.1 build 458-allows customers to leverage S2 Security's market-leading advances in High Availability and the benefits of an IP-based platform to achieve 99.999 percent uptime with minimal administration.
