Kentrox is a company that has long specialized in site management, monitoring and control solutions and the company does not rest on its laurels when it comes to attempting to perfect what it has to offer. The company has already improved on its base suite by offering a tower management module that gives the user-increased site monitoring capabilities in January. Just last month, the company also came up with a way to monitor the power and environment situation on a particular website. Now the company’s security monitoring module means that it will be able to offer much better monitor remote sites and entrance alarms.
The Kentrox security monitoring module provides all a client would need in order to monitor their remote sites, and the alarms that are set off should an intruder enter can be set as completely silent. This means that, while you will know that there is someone on your premises, they will have no idea that you are aware; making it more likely that the authorities can catch them in the act. The security monitor also provides real time video surveillance and local storage of images when motion detectors are tripped.
Of course, if you want people to know that they are being monitored once they break into one of your facilities, there are also ways to let them know they’re being watched. Lights and alarms sounds will go off when someone trips one of the motion sensors.
"Theft and vandalism are a challenge at many remote sites, not only because of the cost of fuel, copper, and equipment, but they also impact network availability," explained Ben Stump, executive vice president and Chief Technology Officer of Kentrox. "The security management module provides the tools to help prevent vandalism and theft and added security for site visitors that are allowed access."
