SecureLogix Unveils Version 7.0 of its ETM System

By SIP Trunking Report Contributor

The SecureLogix ETM System helps companies to secure, optimize and simplify management of complicated enterprise voice/UC networks. The system does this with the help of enterprise-wide voice network intelligence and unified policy enforcement. By protecting the companies from attack, fraud, data leakage, financial losses and service abuse over TDM and VoIP enterprise phone lines, the ETM System facilitates a hard-dollar ROI payback in less than 12 months.

Recently, SecureLogix introduced version 7.0 of its award-winning ETM System. Along with Cisco Integrated Services Routers (ISRs) and voice gateways, ETM System v7.0 now combines SecureLogix’s voice/UC network security, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, and intelligence solutions.

To combine its applications with Cisco's enterprise-focused session border controller (SBC), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), and Cisco TDM Gateways, SecureLogix made use of the Cisco Unified Communications (UC) Gateway Services API. With SecureLogix running on Cisco infrastructure, customers do not need to use external voice security appliances on their networks. They can also reduce their capital and operating expenses and get environmental benefits with this product, the company stated in a press release.

“No other SBC solution offers this full range of platform, network, and application level functionality to enable, manage, and secure SIP trunking deployments across the enterprise," said Joe O'Donnell, vice president of business development for SecureLogix, in a company press release.

SecureLogix solution also offers application level voice policy management and ROI intelligence features that are combined at the network edge.

Recently, TMC’s Anamika Singh reported that the company entered into a sale and marketing agreement with Fortress Pte Ltd, a distributor of network and IT security solutions, to resellers in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. According to this partnership, Fortress will offer the SecureLogix ETM (Enterprise Telephony Management) System, assisting its channel partners in providing the compliance and voice security needs of their customers.
