Panda Security (News - Alert), a reputable provider of cloud-based security solutions, has launched the Panda GateDefender Integra eSeries unified perimeter security device. The device offers protection against all types of threats, accessible anytime from the cloud. The Panda GateDefender Integra eSeries offers complete protection at the Internet gateway, flexible connectivity and management.

The security device offers simple, flexible connectivity through a single, easy-to-use interface accessible anytime from the cloud.

Panda has launched GateDefender Integra eSeries in two models: eSoho, for companies with up to 25 seats; and eSB, for businesses with up to 50 seats. The GateDefender Integra eSeries is capable of offering all-in-one gateway security against all types of infections and intrusions attempts right from the beginning. The service offers flexible connectivity for secure communication with remote offices and roaming workers with mobile devices.

With the help of spam neutralization, restricted access to unproductive content and services, and bandwidth usage control, the eSeries offers increased user productivity and optimized bandwidth usage.

Panda Security's new security appliance’s routing policies allow for the configuration of multiple high-availability lines, as well as the installation of multiple appliances in parallel to deliver fault-tolerant, secure connectivity.

The GateDefender Integra eSeries is equipped with a firewall, intrusion prevention system (IPS), anti-malware, content filter, anti-spam, line backup, and VPN. The device’s anti-spam feature keeps e-mail traffic free from junk mail. Web filter restricts access to non-work-related Web content. Line backup helps to mitigate the risk of Internet connection failure.

Panda Security was recently in the news when the Panda Internet Security 2012 achieved the Advanced+ rating in the latest performance test from AV-Comparatives.org, the independent review lab. These results showcase the solution’s powerful protection capabilities and minimum resource consumption.

According to a company official, this certification proves the excellent work done by Panda Security to minimize resource consumption, leveraging its Collective Intelligence technologies, while delivering maximum protection for users’ PCs.
