SolarWinds Expands its Network Management Portfolio with VoIP & Network Quality Manager

Having recognized a strong need for affordable, easy-to-use VoIP performance monitoring solutions for companies deploying UC services, SolarWinds, Inc. has decided to offer SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager as a standalone product.

The new product is an upgraded version of SolarWinds IP SLA Manager, designed to help IT professionals maintain the highest level of VoIP network performance and voice quality, SolarWinds explained in a statement.

SolarWinds provides powerful and affordable IT management software to customers worldwide, from Fortune 500 enterprises to small businesses. According to SolarWinds, with an increasing number of companies adopting unified communication strategy, demand for affordable, easy-to-use VoIP performance monitoring solutions is on the constant rise.

Under this backdrop, SolarWind is going to release VoIP & Network Quality Manager, expected to let IT professionals troubleshoot and solve VoIP problems faster and more effectively.

SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager reportedly monitors the performance of individual VoIP calls by analyzing call quality metrics available within the call detail record (CDR), and provides real-time alerts when critical thresholds are exceeded.

It also comes with its proactive WAN performance analysis capability.

“VoIP call quality monitoring and troubleshooting are critical needs in any VoIP environment, but finding where the problem exists can be tedious and tricky if you can't see everything you need to analyze the situation,” said VP and market leader of SolarWinds, Sanjay Castelino. “Now with SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager, IT pros will be able to search, filter and analyze call data with one seamless solution.”

The complete SolarWinds network management product portfolio includes SolarWinds NPM, SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM), SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), SolarWinds IP Address Manager (IPAM), SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager, SolarWinds User Device Tracker (UDT), SolarWinds Log and Event Manager, Engineer's Toolset and LANsurveyor.

SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager can be deployed as a standalone product or fully integrated with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM). This choice enables IT pros to target VoIP and WAN monitoring and troubleshooting, or gain a unified view of network performance.

When purchased together, Acronis vmProtect and SolarWinds Virtualization Manager are available at a discounted MSRP to channel partners who are registered with the Acronis Global Partner Program.
