Keyware Set to Offer a New Internet Sharing Application - SafeShare

By SIP Trunking Report Contributor

Keyware, Inc., a provider of digital social supervision and security solutions for Internet access devices used in households and small businesses and maker of the award-winning Action Alert parental control software application, has announced a new software branded as SafeShare. This easy and convenient computer program can be used by students as a back-to-school tool and by parents to monitor the online activities of their children.

Using SafeShare, multiple authorized users can simultaneously view each other’s computer screens, and can enjoy interactive Internet connections between students, groups, and tutors. Students at different locations can now collaborate online for group assignments, tutoring projects or homework, all without tying up phone lines. SafeShare enables a same room type environment among the tutors, peers and students even though when they are located at different physical locations – miles apart from each other.

According to a statement, in comparison with other Internet sharing applications available in the market, SafeShare allows users to view multiple screens at the same time. Also, SafeShare uses VOIP (voice over Internet protocol), so that users don’t need to use their phone lines while collaborating. DVR- like rewind features provided by the application allows users to get a close-up of what their friends are seeing just by clicking on thumbnails.

SafeShare, which works with all online programs and websites, can be installed easily in a matter of few seconds and, after that, it’s as simple as inviting friends and in a click, the sharing can be started.

With SafeShare, users and parents can have assurance and peace of mind, because it allows them to specify a safe user group for their children, allowing only known and approved users to join. Also, by recording and reviewing online activities of their children, parents can ensure responsible Internet behavior.
