Minneapolis-based Comm-Works, a global technology integrator for multi-site organizations, is one of the few companies that despite a bad economy, managed some serious growth and momentum.

It now anticipates a steep revenue growth from international business.

In a recent statement, the company announced that the revenue it receives from international business is expected to grow by 60 percent over last year.

“International markets not only provide a landscape for our business to grow, but also the businesses of our clients,” said CEO Al Lampe. “As organizations look to find new customers and expand across the globe, they are seeking a partner to deliver scalable, consistent technology solutions to all of their sites.”

Comm-Works identified a few factors that reportedly helped it achieve the growth:

The company invested significant resource in building up a network that can provide technology solutions in more than 100 countries worldwide.

The company installed global technology solutions such as wireless, payment systems, data networks and IP telephony.

Comm-Works also delivered significant number of projects in the United Kingdom and regions throughout South America.

It reportedly expanded service implementation in several new countries throughout 2012 including India, Taiwan, Ireland and Mexico.

All these helped Comm-works to experience continued momentum over a three-year period with revenue from international accounts tripling between 2009 to 2011.

Comm-Works currently serves more than 150,000 customer locations in more than 100 countries. It serves diverse industries including retail, finance and insurance, healthcare and manufacturing and for the federal government.

In other news, Comm-Works, proudly announced that it was honored as "Partner in Customer Excellence," an all-new designation from Avaya (News - Alert), a major global provider of business collaboration applications, systems and services.

The "Partner in Customer Excellence" distinction identifies and rewards channel partners who achieve significantly higher scores in their customer satisfaction surveys. Customer satisfaction is now a critical element in determining partner level status for Avaya, and the new designation recognizes those that go above and beyond.
