Cellcrypt, a provider of encrypted voice calling and messaging for smartphones and tablets, has launched Cellcrypt Conferencing, the company's new secure conference calling product.
New solution dramatically reduces security risks from traditional conference calling services and enables end-to-end encrypted voice calling.
Officials with Cellcrypt said that Cellcrypt Conferencing is a flexible, on-site, software-based product for government and enterprise markets, which enables improved security for conference call organizers and participants.
According to company officials, Cellcrypt Conferencing increases security for users through a three-step risk-reduction process to ensure that only authorized callers are able to enter a conference.
"Cellcrypt has a history of innovation and today's announcement continues the Cellcrypt tradition of bringing leading-edge secure communications products to the market,” said Richard Greco, CEO, Cellcrypt, in a statement.
Greco said that given recent hacking publicity, many organizations including businesses, governments and law enforcement agencies now recognize that their conference calls may be vulnerable to interception.
"The Cellcrypt Conferencing solution is our response to customers who demand assurance that their conference calls are secure," he said.
Company officials pointed out that for the highest level of security, participants may encrypt their connection to a Cellcrypt Conferencing bridge by using Cellcrypt Mobile for smartphones and tablets, or by using a secure voice channel to internal PBX systems with Cellcrypt Enterprise Gateway, both available from Cellcrypt separately.
For maximum flexibility, Cellcrypt Conferencing can support unencrypted, encrypted, or a mix of both types of participants.
This feature, company officials said, allows organizations to create trusted and secure conference call meetings, with the ability to include "in the clear" callers when necessary and in accordance with organizational security policies.
Back in October, Cellcrypt announced that it has been selected by Fixmo Inc. to provide an enhanced secure voice and messaging application for iOS and Android mobile devices to operate within the Fixmo SafeZone secure workspace.
The partnership enables government agencies and enterprises to empower their employees with real-time collaboration and private voice calling on the latest iPhone and Android smartphones without compromising security, integrity or compliance.
