Tufin Technologies, an Israel-based provider of security lifecycle management solutions,
reportedly has released SecureTrack 4.4, the latest version of its flagship product.
The new version will provide support and interoperability with Fortinet’s unified threat management systems, which are used by enterprises and managed security service providers, Tuffin officials said.
According to Shaul Efraim, vice president of products, marketing and business development for Tufin, SecureTrack’s support for the FortiGate line of UTM systems underscores the company’s commitment to providing broad support for enterprise and service provider customers.
“Fortinet customers will benefit from Tufin’s offering of fully interoperable Firewall Operations Management solutions, allowing IT administrators unmatched capabilities for managing and auditing policy changes, analyzing security and business continuity risks and complying with corporate and industry regulations like PCI-DSS and SOX,” Efraim said.
The new feature allows SecureTrack, diagrammed below, to deploy real-time change management, policy analysis and auditing capabilities throughout Fortinet environments – as well as previously supported Check Point, Cisco (

Ariel Avitan, security analyst for Frost & Sullivan (

“Tufin has consistently kept up with security market requirements and has done so once again with the newly added support for Fortinet’s FortiGate UTM systems,” Avitan said.
SecureTrack 4.4 also features enhanced rule and object change tracking reports that provide real-time firewall policy change monitoring and reporting, including a comprehensive audit trail for full accountability, company officials say.
Also, advanced filtering options in the new package allow security administers to tailor change reports to specific requirements. They give real-time notifications and detailed reports at the rule or object level, ensuring enhanced monitoring of critical network infrastructure to prevent incorrect configuration.
SecureTrack 4.4 analyzes and cleanses complex rule bases and objects to eliminate potential security breaches and improve firewall performance. The tool includes a risk analysis feature by which it simulates and identifies potential security breaches.
SecureTrack security tool provides an intuitive, graphical view of firewall policies, rule bases and configuration changes for CheckPoint, Cisco, Fortinet, and Juniper firewalls as well as Cisco routers and switches.
SecureTrack 4.4 offers support for industry regulations including PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, ISO 17799 and Basel II.
