To expand its channel reach, SonicWALL reportedly has entered a distribution agreement with technology distributor D&H Distributing.
Under the agreement, D&H will distribute the entire SonicWALL (News - Alert) product portfolio, which includes network security, secure remote access, content and e-mail security, and backup and recovery solutions.
Often, companies such as SonicWALL depend upon SMB resellers to get additional customers for the company. These SMB resellers have the expertise, or the knowledge of the local market and help the company to make inroads into the potential and unexploited markets.
This partnership provides SonicWALL with access to D&H’s expansive channel and partner network. This will enhance SonicWALL’s reputation as a committed SMB-focused vendor, says SonicWALL. Also, the company’s SMB-focused network security solutions which include secure content management, end-to-end backup and recovery, and a host of robust internet security appliances will be instantly added by D&H’s channel partners.
“The addition of D&H to the SonicWALL family presents an excellent opportunity for all parties,” said Marvin Blough, vice president at SonicWALL. “The SMB market has been our core market since our inception and continues to grow as businesses embrace the productivity gains unleashed by security and networking technology. This agreement with D&H opens new opportunities for SonicWALL’s SMB channel partners.”
The agreement provides SMB focused solution providers with many benefits. They include proven security products, a program recognized as the #1 vendor partner program in the 2008 VARBusiness ARC Awards, Network Security Appliance category, and other benefits such as Deal Registration, Partner Rewards sales, incentives, Partner Locator, discounted training and demo products.
Recently, the company enhanced its award-winning line of Unified Threat Management solutions for small businesses with the launch of the SonicWALL TZ 210 Series. The TZ 210 integrates a high performance deep packet inspection firewall, Gigabit Ethernet, and automated failover/failback technologies making it the most comprehensive UTM network security platform available to small businesses at a price point under $1,000.
