TriGeo Security Information Manager is a product that combines real-time log management, event correlation and endpoint security with a unique active response technology. The result is unprecedented network visibility, security and control.
It will allow the midsized businesses to quickly and affordably protect their networks by monitoring device and user activity for anomalous behavior, while enforcing policy violations in real time.
According to Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, "McAfee has opened up its security risk management architecture to provide customers with innovative tools to easily manage their multi-vendor security environments."
"Our customers need to secure their networks and maintain compliance; we're making that even easier by enabling streamlined integration between TriGeo Security Information Manager and McAfee ePO software," added Gottlieb.
TriGeo SIM correlates events from different products, like McAfee ePO software, to identify potential threats and policy violations and targeted integration will enable TriGeo SIM to send events to McAfee ePO software in real time, for ePO console operators to take corrective actions like blocking, quarantining, running security scans, compliance audits, altering security policies and remediation.
Michelle Dickman, president and CEO of TriGeo Network Security, commented, "TriGeo and McAfee have been combating hackers and hostile insiders for years." "This alliance makes it easier for McAfee's midsized customers to derive immediate value from TriGeo's SIEM solution and actively respond to threats and violations in real time."
TriGeo SIM is designed for networks with 50 to 5,000 devices with its technology helping enterprises secure their networks and achieve regulatory compliance mandates like PCI, GLBA, NCUA, FDIC, HIPAA and SOX.
