Solidcore Simplifies Meeting PCI DSS Compliance for VIPdesk
By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributing Editor
VIPdesk (News - Alert), a provider of virtual call center services, has opted for Solidcore S3 Control PCI Pro edition solution. With this, VIPdesk aims to comply with the file integrity monitoring and audit trail requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
While deploying software and applications to meet various statutory requirements, companies look for vendors that offer easy installation and functionalities. Apart from this, in the time of this gloomy economy, companies also look for applications that are economical and provide value for the investment.
Many of the world’s most recognized luxury and premium brands rely on VIPdesk for virtual call center solutions and concierge services. VIPdesk is a PCI DSS “Level 1” merchant, the highest level of PCI compliance. To maintain PCI DSS file integrity monitoring and auditing, the company should comply with mandatory requirements for Level 1 merchants.
“Regardless of what size merchant you are, the only way to properly and painlessly address the PCI DSS file integrity monitoring and auditing requirements is to use Solidcore’s continuous file integrity monitoring software,“ said Jill Kyte, vice president of marketing and business development for Solidcore. “Solidcore PCI Pro takes the effort and guess-work out of meeting the difficult PCI DSS requirements.”
Allowing VIPdesk system administrators to quickly identify where PCI compliance policies are being challenged, Solidcore PCI Pro offers “continuous” file integrity monitoring that captures all changes to files. The solution also captures specific details about every change event on systems where cardholder data is stored. With this, VIPdesk can easily follow the file integrity monitoring requirements of PCI DSS sections ten and eleven. With the help of Solidcore PCI Pro, VIPdesk can track database schema, data changes, and any changes to roles, users or permissions.
The Solidcore S3 Control PCI Pro was recently selected by Verrus Mobile Technologies, a provider of mobile phone payment services. With this, Verrus aims to quickly and easily meet the file integrity monitoring and audit trail requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
