Cloudmark, a provider of carrier-grade messaging security solutions, and AerVox, a Spanish telecommunications software firm, have announced a partnership to offer comprehensive messaging security capabilities to Datatronics, which provides fixed and wireless telecom market solutions across Europe and Latin America.

 

AerVox will use Cloudmark (News - Alert) Authority for Mobile software as its sole platform for SMS mobile content filtering to deliver accurate mobile messaging security protection for Datatronics’ (News - Alert) mobile operator customers.

 

Cloudmark’s content filtering software solution is designed for large-scale carrier implementations. It goes beyond protocol level controls that counteract signaling fraud between mobile networks to also catch on-network attacks such as spam from mobile bots or prepaid accounts, as well as sophisticated off-network abuse already accepted by partner networks. Cloudmark Authority reportedly scans mobile messages at more than 20 times the rate of competing solutions.

 

AerVox (News - Alert) will integrate Cloudmark technology into the AerVox SMS Firewall enabling wireless operators to take preventive measures against potentially dangerous messaging threats, such as spamming, spoofing, faking or flooding, in real time.
