Nepal Satellite Telecom Pvt Ltd, a national telecom operator in Nepal, operating under its brand name Hello Nepal, has reportedly selected eServGlobal Limited for smarter transaction management solutions in charging, payment and retention services.

 

NSTPL will use eServGlobal’s (News - Alert) Convergent Billing System, “ChargingMax,” including Rating and Charging for prepaid subscribers, PayMobile, an electronic recharge and voucher management and Missed Call Alert solution.

 

eServGlobal network will also provide other components such as IVR, USSD and SMS solutions along with installation and post-installation services.

 

Along with eServe, NSTPL has also selected Xalted Information Systems, a provider of engaged in OSS/BSS, Telecom Security and Managed Services, to initially support its 150,000 subscribers with their convergent billing solution.

 

Xalted Information Systems will provide the Convergent OSS/BSS platform, including end-to-end Wholesale, Retail Billing and Customer Management. The solution shall be supported by Xalted’s flagship Interconnect Billing, Service Provisioning, Mediation, Retail Billing and Customer Care products.

 

This project will meet NSTPL’s ambitious launch requirements, committing to offer mobile services from the low land of Terai to the high Himalays in the North where state-run operators have not been able to provide telecommunication services in decades’ of their operations.

 

C Mani Chaulagain, CEO of Nepal Satellite Telecom, said the flexibility and advanced technology of the solutions were the deciding factors when awarding this contract. “eServGlobal also solves issues related to accelerated growth, allowing us to open the systems to higher subscriber phases at a much lower cost,” he added.
