ManageEngine Applications Manager is an availability and performance monitoring software that helps ensure high availability and performance for the company’s business applications. The application performance management capability includes server monitoring, application server monitoring, database monitoring, and web services monitoring.

With the help of ManageEngine Applications Manager, IT administrators can gain important insight into the health and performance of virtual servers as well as the virtual hosts configured in those servers. They can also ensure their virtual systems are performing at their peak with the aid of comprehensive performance metrics as well as in-depth reports, states the company.

Providing administrators with a single tool to monitor both their physical and virtual systems, ManageEngine Applications Manager also offers extensive capabilities for monitoring the physical systems in an IT environment. This helps administrators to keep track of the user experience, both pre and post virtualization with the end-user experience monitoring capabilities of Applications Manager. ManageEngine Applications Manager is available as a downloadable file for both Windows and Linux platforms.

In April 2009, the company announced beta availability of ManageEngine IT360, an integrated business service management product, aligning infrastructure management with business operations. The ManageEngine IT360's Web-based console is supposed to let IT administrators prioritize problem resolution for network, systems and applications based on the affected business operation, the company stated in a press release.
