Integra Telecom Unveils SIP Solutions, a Portfolio of IP-Based Services

Integra Telecom, a telecommunications provider for businesses, introduced of SIP Solutions, a robust portfolio of IP-based services that will enhance Integra’s voice and data offerings.


The company’s SIP Solutions integrate multiple voice and data options on a single connection and are the latest addition to Integra’s product offerings which leverages its own fiber-based voice and data network.

Dudley Slater, CEO for Integra Telecom (News - Alert), said in a press release, “Businesses are always seeking to simplify their telecommunications in order to be a more efficient and profitable organization. By continuing to introduce more telephony products like SIP Solutions, Integra Telecom is ensuring that our customers have access to the most advanced and cost-effective services available.”

“SIP Solutions is designed to meet the needs of businesses that are looking to support voice and data applications at single or multiple locations. And all of our services are supported by Integra’s industry leading local customer service,” Slater added.

According to company sources Integra’s SIP Solutions products and services can be customized to cater to the needs of an individual business. It is most suitable for a large company with heavy phone usage that needs to ensure voice lines receive top priority besides being suitable for a retail outlet that requires commercial transactions to be performed as fast as possible.

The company’s SIP Solutions are flexible and are capable of providing businesses with dynamic bandwidth allocation with high-bandwidth options up to 30 Mbps. Voice services always take priority and include SIP trunking to a certified IP-PBX (News - Alert) with multiple compression options or traditional line, trunk or ISDN PRI handoffs to any PBX, explained Integra officials.

Integra provides managed Quality of Service or QoS over every SIP Solutions connection. This ensures clear and reliable voice while maximizing data bandwidth. SIP Solutions can be integrated seamlessly with Integra’s VPN Solutions or MPLS offerings.

Company officials added that Integra SIP Solutions will be available in most of Integra’s service areas.

Integra provides voice, data and Internet communications to several business and carrier customers in 11 Western states in the United States including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Also the company owns and operates a fiber-optic network comprising metropolitan access networks, an Internet and data network and a 4,700-mile high-speed long haul network.
