EtherSpeak, an IP communications-as-a-service provider, has announced that the strength of its association with Microsoft (News - Alert) has been intensified by being positioned as a qualified SIP Trunking services provider with Microsoft's Lync partner eco-system.

EtherSpeak's Lync SIP Trunking brand for Microsoft Lync, endows the users with new features such as rapid turn-up and tangible cost savings, in addition to the voice packet encryption, auto failover and geographic redundancy options. Customer requirements would be successfully met without prompting for the addition of costly customer-premise hardware.

In a release, Neil Darling, EtherSpeak’s president said, “We are proud to become a Microsoft qualified SIP trunking provider offering true cost savings for businesses through our innovative products, high standards of excellence and quality service. We intend to bring significant value to both Microsoft Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) partners and Microsoft UC customers with our commitment and reputation for excellent service quality and unparalleled innovation.”

The professional expertise, quality service and innovative products of EtherSpeak, along with the multitude of its to-be-launched connectivity options for both public Internet and MPLS networks with QoS, would contribute in cementing its position as the industry leader, said the company.

iEtherFax, a reliable ‘zero-touch’ fax-line replacement solution, is the first of its kind to hit the market, which has been so designed as to integrate with a Microsoft UC customer’s existing fax machine without any glitch. In addition, features such as infrastructure redundancy, managed connectivity and business communications continuity, complement their communications-as-a-service offerings.

Kirk Gregersen, senior director of Lync Product Management said, “We are pleased that EtherSpeak has joined Lync’s partner eco-system as a qualified SIP Trunking services provider. EtherSpeak’s ability to offer flexible IP communication services to Lync customers will be especially helpful at a time when the market demand for Lync is growing at such a rapid pace”. EtherSpeak has also been associated with ShoreTel (News - Alert) systems through SureTrunk for ShoreTel service brand and continues to be the only certified SIP Provider for ShoreTel systems ever since 2008.
